Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, you have to join us in our tranquil surroundings in Sodwana Bay.

CHALETS

A day in Africa boasts 5 comfortable on-suite accommodation units in Sodwana Bay.  Our accommodation have a "touch of Africa" with it's unique natural designs, and wall's covered in bamboo produced by the locals.

Our accommodation is neat and tidy with solid wood vanity and cane baskets to hold your belongings. Safe and secure parking right outside your unit.
Our newest rooms for the young at heart - slightly smaller but more than a man or woman needs to lay their heads down to rest.  These rooms boast two single beds with a small vanity to hold your belongings.
Our family room nestled amongst the bushes can accommodate 2 adults (double bed) and 3 children (3 single beds)  This unit is tucked away from the rest of the camp but close to the ablution blocks for your convenience.

CARAVAN PARK AND CAMPING SITES IN SODWANA BAY

We have 8 large camping and caravan sites with their own outdoor ablutions, with hot and cold running water.
Own private entrance.

 

Our Lodge is situated outside the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and therefore a daily gate entry fee of R35.00 p.p.p.d. (Parks Board allow you to get out the car and walk in without paying) is payable at the park entrance boom gate unless you can produce a Golden Rhino Card.

  • Packages are quoted for two-mile reef. For other venues upgrades are applicable.
  • We regret that no refunds will be given on our packages for dives not done.
  • Dives are not transferable.
  • Night dives are an extra and are not part of any package.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Please note diver permits are required to scuba dive in Sodwana Bay as of 1st September 2009 - These can be purchased at a post office for R85 for a year.  Monthly permits are available at our reception

 

Please note that our core business is scuba diving and therefore we give divers preference in our accommodation during peak periods.
