A Day in Africa provides you with CMAS, PADI and IANTD dive courses from beginner to instructors level. These courses were written by the instructors of CMAS-ISA, PADI and IANTD. structured specifically to accommodate the South African conditions.

• ONE STAR COURSE
  One Star sport diver training is classed as an "entrance level" diver training programme which enables the participant to undertake open water dives to a maximum depth of 18 metres, using air as a breathing medium.
  
  
• TWO STAR COURSE
  During the Two Star Advanced Diver Training programme the participant is introduced to advanced diving theory and techniques which enables the participant to participate in a variety of speciality diving activities, such as deeper diving and night diving to a maximum depth of 30 metres in both the fresh and sea water environments, whilst using air as a breathing medium.
  
  
• RESCUE DIVE COURSE
  To supply a framework for emergency actions, for divers and instructors, to assist in diver training and diving related accident management, to contribute to safer diving. We will train you in the knowledge and the skills to manage risks and how to handle problems in and out the water. You'll be able to handle any dive emergencies.
  
  
• THREE STAR COURSE
  The 3 Star Master Diver is a fully trained, experienced and responsible diver who is considered competent to lead other divers of any grade in open water. The recommended dept is 40 meters. This is where you get to the point where you can handle new dive circumstances and engage in more serious diving activities and this is also a stepping stone towards the CMAS, PADI and IANTD Leadership courses.
  
  
• DIVE MASTER COURSE
  The CMAS, PADI and IANTD Dive Master Training Programme represents the first level of leadership training offered by IANTD, PADI and CMAS. Upon completion of the programme the participant will not only be able to act as a dive leader for groups of divers performing open water dives, but he/she will also be able to act as an instructional assistant to a IANTD and CMAS Instructor during the confined and open water training lessons of the different IANTD, PADI and CMAS diver education and training programmes.
